WAJS opens

With the retirement of the Fujita family, who admirably led the Waialae Japanese School (WJS) for 55 years, we started a new school to continue the tradition of educating East Honolulu’s youngsters in the Japanese language and culture. The new school is called Waialae Asahi Japanese School (WAJS) and we are thrilled to be up-and-running for the 2013-2014 school year. Check back to this website often for news and updates about WAJS.
